JO MALONE CHRISTMAS PREVIEW

One of the wonderfully bonkers things about working on a magazine is 'Christmas in July' - to meet the long lead times of print titles, PR's show journalists the lovely things coming up for the last quarter of the year in the middle of the summer.

The beautiful pine & eucalyptus room fragrances (below) won't be available in Jo Malone stores til October, but even in July, they conjure up an instant sense of Christmas trees - absolute heaven. The huge candle is, as you'd expect from Jo Malone, incredibly luxurious. The room diffuser (with the black sticks) is more accessibly priced at £45, and lasts forever - this one will still be wafting out the delicious smell of Christmas in late December.

My friend is seeing a life coach who told her she has to make a list of her must haves and must not haves when looking for a future husband.

I am not as regimented but we decided to make a list for me.

Number two on my must haves is 'must like Christmas' yes that's above must be solvent and must be honest.

Christmas in July is silly though, but I'd kind of love going!

Oh, I love Jo Malone. I am only every allowed (rightly, as eating is preferable) to buy the small candles. I definitely must have a Christmas scented one!

"I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year. "

If it is good enough for Scrooge, then it's good enough for me!

Celebrate Christmas allllllll year! :-D

I love Jo Malone candles and often buy them as presents when I got back to visit friends and family in Finland. They make excellent Christmas presents too…but I really can't be thinking of Christmas yet...
