MORE RED LIPSTICK

I know I'm obsessed by red lipstick, but I think this new Tom Ford one is a game-changer. The colour is a rich ruby red, neither too pink nor too orange.  It's very densely pigmented so it stays and stays yet it doesn't dry your lips but remains glossy (unlike the otherwise wonderful Bobby Brown red). It looks expensive, to boot, which is just as well since it's Tom Ford and thus costs eleventy three billion pounds.

It's not an everyday red like the Dior Addict 'New Look' one I mentioned a few posts ago, it is quite an emphatic shade. But by God, I love it.

I think it could be the red lipstick against which all other red lipsticks should be judged.

Tom Ford, Scarlet Rouge, £36

I agree - Mr Ford's lippies take some beating. His nail varnish is pretty fab too - somehow just a little more glossy and expensive-looking than other ones... as you'd hope, for the cost of them. Rainy February definitely calls for red lipstick though...

I have an unnatural desire for a Tom Ford lipstick. Maybe this one will be the one! I'm heading off to Glasgow on Saturday and I *think* they stock his lippies. So much for my Frugal February lol!

I want it. I want it so badly. I shall buy it when the husband is not looking. We can eat baked beans!

I want the entire Tom Ford makeup range SO badly...sometimes I go to Bloomingdales just to try on Neroli Portofino and gaze longingly at the lipsticks.

I also long to be able to wear lipstick without looking like I've just raided my mother's makeup bag...

I love red lipstick and own about 6 shades, all inexpensive--although the Chanel colors appeal--and wear them to match outfits and mood. Brown-red, red-red, blue-red... oh, yes. I can't seem to bother about pinks and nudes and wines.

Tom Ford is possibly the most sylish human being alive- and he knows his lipstick. I still don't have one of his scents which I must rectify, I think Grey Vetiver is the most likely candidate (I know it's for men but oh well...)

I've not been able to take a Tom Ford lippy seriously since a particularly hilarious Waffle vlog she did on facegoop aaaaagges ago..so Chanel it is.

I might try this out, Tom ford as a lipstick just seems so dubious that I haven't even gone to try at the counter, but if you say so, will have a go...
